This Saturday, the turtle crew will be conducting the second treatment of our turtles for whatever the bug was that infected one of our large female Cooters. She’s back in the pond now and doing better. But doctor’s orders are that we dose all the turtles again with the medication he provided. The pond will be drained again. We’ll net out the fish into temporary tanks, weigh, count and treat all 19 turtles.
So bring the kids. Invite your friends. This will be a great way for kids to experience animal medicine up close.
